Well it\'s seems like it\'s taken forever but my car is finally booked in with Pip @ WGT on the 2nd of July. Quite impressed as they offered to pick the car up from my home, which saves me aload of hassle, mind you im only about 30 miles away from them anyway.
Anyway it\'s booked in for a full rebuild with street port. I\'ve got a koyo radiator coming from Japan in the next week or so to go in along with my PowerFC. Now my question is while the cars having all of this done, is there anything else worth asking them to do?
I\'ve thought of a couple of things such as:
1.) Replacing the vacuum lines with silicon hoses
2.) Cleaning the injectors
But is there anything else which is going to be of use to me to get done?
(My ultimate goal is for about 400rwhp in the future (when I go single), but for now im happy with the twins.)
1.) Replacing the vacuum lines with silicon hoses
2.) Cleaning the injectors
3.) Aluminium AST...
If you can trust your rad, then AST elimination.

Its £3,000 + vat. I think thats based on worst case scenario though, i.e. replacing rotor & housings etc.

While the engine is out get the diff and gearbox oil changed:)
Fuel pulsation dampner removal, secondary choke removal in uim,Air pump removal if you have a decat along with the acv on the lim and the 3 solenoids that control acv and butterlfy actuator, thermal pellet modification, oil pressure regulator modification to allow higher oil pressure, vacume hose replacement, new turbo coolant hoses, new thermostat the list goes on...and on... These are REALLY cheap mods to do
