Title: Re-mappers in south east area
Post by: evo_ray on May 17, 2007, 11:03:36 PM
I fitted an Apexi PFC to my FD the other day and recieved all the registration paperwork today so the car is officially on the road as of today :Laugh

I need the car remapped so was wondering if there is anyone in the south east that would be recommended.  At the moment the car seems to be running ok but will not exceed 0.4 boost.

The car has the following mods;

Greddy piping/Turbo
Trust /Intercooler
RE Amamiya Aluminium radiator
Blitz/EVC boost controler
Engine dumper
Master cylinder stopper
HKS RS/air filter
HKS/exhaust pipe
Coil over sus

I have turned the Blitz Boost controller off (i think!?) because I don\'t know how or what to set it too. I though it best to get whoever mapps it to sort it all out for me.

Any recomendations?  And how much should it cost??

bro ring me about this tomorrow night and i will let you know, you might even have your boost controller set to 0.4 or something. tbh on twins etc boost cont sometimes does more harm than good.

If your in Luton your in-between alot of them. Also try Peter Betts at Thor Racing,they\'re located just below Birmingham. Check out //www.thorracing.co.uk
We as members have held three dyno days there and Peter know his stuff..

0.4 BAR sounds like you have a boost leak, you should at least hit .5 BAR as a minimum if just off the wastegate if its twins.

If its a single turbo then check you have plumped in the boost controller and wastegate correctly
