Is there such a thing about?? I\'m quite willing to just get stuck in and rip it out!
But I do need some sort of guide/step by step instructions. I\'m off all weekend, so I\'m game!

Have done mate. Didn\'t find a guide as such.
why dont you get the vid from rotaryaviation its a step by step guide, someone may even lend you a copy if they are close by enough people own it on here
Ahh... good idea!
Basically want to know initially what I have to all remove from the engine bay before the engine comes out.
id say take your time, take plenty pics and mark as much as possable up(ie masking tape and marker pen)
its a dounting looking thing to do but from what iv seen doesn t seem that bad a job,
but before u go ripping it to bits id get it check ed out first might be something simple
Mmmm... dunno mate. Not looking to good tbh. It shouldn\'t be flooded anymore as I had it running for a good 5mins or so. Stalls at idle, steam coming from turbo area. DOH!
This is worth looking at

got a link mate?
thats funny cos when i wasnt using my rex and it was just going in and out of the garage it used to floor and id take the plugs out, dry them, take the fuel pump relay out and wang it over a bit, put um back in and it would start, now i could leave it running for 10 minutes and the next day it would floor the same, it needed a good toasting up the road to clear it out to stop it doing it, once or twice i also had white smoke comming from the turbo area after it had flooded, not sure why, could have just been the flooded petrol filling the exhaust manifold and weeping out the gaskets, i think taking the motor out is a bit drastic
The search button is alot of help with this :p

Ok... maybe a bit drastic. But I\'m a bit stuck here. lol. Everyone tends to be saying it\'s rebuild time.
I had it running for 5mins and it still stalled when no revs. I can\'t risk trying to take it for a hammering incase I get stuck somewhere!.. lol
dude you don\'t even know whats up yet. Get the fault diagnosed properly before ripping the engine out.
Aye... might have another MRC member coming on Sunday to have a look.
I\'m just gun-ho.. lol
