I thought they were the square blocks with arrows on, one on each side and one under the bonnet catch?

My air bag sensor (one of three on the car) does not look like that! they are square blocks and they do have arrows on them, the front one is between the fuse box (just in front of the air filter) and the bonnet catch,
not sure what that is.

Don\'t know what that is... but I thought the white plug that is in it was for the side marker lights in the front & rear bumper???

The plug is tucked up out the way on my car!!

Defiantly NOT an air bag sensor, having seen and stripped a few!, RX-7\'s over the years I can tell you that I have never seen this devise on any of them.

I beleive this is an aftermarket fitment, where does the other end go to ?

this is what made me think it might be air bag.

I can account for all the air bag sensors. This looks like it should have something to do with the airflow/temp (as antnicuk suggests) into the front of the car due to being where it is in the airflow. It has the look of an original fitment because of the brackets etc. Just for info it has 2 wires going into it and goes into the main front loom to the side of the off side headlamp. Here are a couple more pics. Any more ideas? Would it be something to do with the climate contol at all, as mines a type x?

Lots of FD\'s have that cable - but i have only ever seen one connected...and i never traced it much further as it was a standard type X and went under the rad somewhere.

So i think it\'s standard fitment, but have never found out what the cable is for.

Did a search on the part No and came up with this thread (http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=22423)

So my guess is it\'s for the climate control fitted to type X cars
