Title: Trackday shakedown
Post by: FlappyCat on May 12, 2007, 10:18:14 PM
Hi all

Took my TII for a trackday at Bedford Autodrome on Monday, first time in this car and it was great although a bit of a handfull in the morning rain (I need a new wiperswich if anyone has one). It\'s a standard car on quality standard-ish rubber but I was wondering if all standard TII\'s are so twitchy and is there a polybush kit available?

Overall I was very impressed with the way it held its own with some much more modern and generally very good machinery (Elises, Caterhams and Scoobies) so I\'ll be doing again - great fun for a £900 car! Did manage to shake a rear silencer loose - but that was all.

As I have stripped out some trim (anyone need rear or driver\'s seat) I have now noticed some bearing noise from the back axle/diff. on left hand bends does anyone know if this is this a big job?
