Title: New RX7 owner
Post by: Hector on May 02, 2007, 06:56:39 PM
Hi all,

After a long search I finally found my \'99 RX7.
It was worth the wait! This site definately kept me informed and helped me decide on this car.
Its in good, standard form with 57k on the clock.
Going to put some TOMs rims on it and have been doing a few cosmetic work on it.
BTW does anyone know where I can get scuff plates because mine are tatty and annoying me!
I\'d never actually driven a rotary engined car before, but now I know what the fuss is about!

Cheers,
-H.

Thanks for the welcome!
I\'m in Hemel so that meet is too far away unfortunately.
Cheers for the info but the forum won\'t let me access this page? http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forum...ad.php?t=38048 (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forum...ad.php?t=38048)
Yeah the TOMS are from a Supra, but they will look lovely on the RX I think. From what I can gather the stud pattern and offset are compatible?
Cheers . H.

Hector, you are correct, wheels from the Supra fit straight on the FD no probs, the Blitz technospeeds i bought when i had my FD were from a mkiv supra.

Also, i have some scuff plates, the aluminium ones, they are in ok condition, could do with a polish, as the served their purpose as scuff plates....make an offer if you like.
