What is it, how do you do it and why would I want to??
:D
just press the a/c button, does the same job lol.. it just lets you switch the fans on so there on all the time.. keeps the thing cooler.
You just run a single wire to ground from the relays under the bonnet on the drivers side. Run the wire to a switch, then off the other side of the switch run it to ground. Trouble with putting the ac on like inteloper said is that it uses that little more petrol and is hopeless in winter.
p.s interloper, I\'ll get that money sent on wednesday ok mate

Anymore info on how to do it?
Soz mate, can\'t remember where i got the information from but i did it to mine and it works a treat in slow traffic or in a traffic jam. I\'ll let you know what colour wire to splice into 2moz. I mounted the switch on the lower steering column cowl.
kewl i`ll do this to :)
no rush for the cash m8 lol..
just found this lads http://www.fd3s.net/fan_mod.html
Just looked at doing this mod to the car to keep the under hood temps down a bit and went to this web site
http://rx7.voodoobox.net/howto/fanswitch/fanswitch.html (http://rx7.voodoobox.net/howto/fanswitch/fanswitch.html)
On double checking the voltages and switching modes, the author of the above has got the red and green dotted relays the wrong way round, so when following this be sure to read the "green dot" relay as the "red" one and vica versa.
This applies to my Rex anyway which is a UK car. Just double check on yours before connecting anything.
Just to add that this particular mod negates the use for the 2 minute hook up and 30 second wait after shut off.... Doesn\'t run when the engine is switched off tho, but you can run the fans without switching the A/C on if you have the ignition on.

In case anyone still would like to do this, when i did this to mine today i made a little sketch of the cables and colours and how to connect them.
You can do this in two ways but i\'ve only shown one on the diagram which uses 2 switches or a Double Pole switch, or you can wire it as i\'ve explained in the pic.
This does work and i\'ve tested it on mine, but i would suggest you check it for yourself if you are not 100% happy. When splicing the cables make sure you don\'t cut all the through and the original is still connect to both the relay and loom in any case.
This connects the switch to ground only, DO NOT CONNECT ANYTHING TO A 12v POSITIVE CONNECTION!!
Any questions let me know.
This enables you to turn the fans on when the engine is running or the ignition is on and not waiting for the ECU to cut them in or the need for A/C to be on, which is ideal in traffic or hot days etc or if you want to just keep the temps down.
