Anyone know of good insurers for a modded FD used as a daily drive?
I have over 11 years NCB and am 29, so not a stupid risk. Adrian Flux have just increased my annual premium by over £120 and NOTHING has changed.
Thanks...
I found A-plan quite good; I\'m a bit older than you but with a tad less NCB. That said, my FD only has a few relatively basic mods.
If you where over 30 I would say heritage. They are really good !
Shaun
Thanks
I will try A-Plan, and guess I\'ll have to wait until next year to try Heritage!!!
I use a brokers called Insurance Factory, the number is 0870 7778181. I payed £480 last year as a 32 year old with 10 years NCD. My car is mildly modified, parked on the street and is my only car.
Hope that helps
Barry
A.J. Insurance brokers have been very good i\'ve just renewed at 485 using NIG. Mild mods all declared, 32, 10yrs ncd max protected, no points, fully comp and two claims in two years. Parked on the drive and a business class 1 for commuting to two places of work, 12000 miles/year. NIG were also faultless regarding my two previous claims (bet they wont be next time though!!)
i got a turbo 2 cabriolet and am 30 with 6 years ncb have just got a quote from more than for 262 fully comp
this is best quote every had give it a go
A-Plan and Sky I\'d say...
I\'m with Sky, I\'m 25 and pay £860 for 10,000miles it\'s my main car and has an agreed value of £9k and like for like replacement of modifications. It\'s quite modified, single turbo etc - 390hp etc etc.
4yr NCB
