Title: FD what\'s the orange light ?

On the left of the dash, says 4W ABS.  Assuming it means low pressure/fluid levels in the brake system ?

Had it showing for the last couple of days, gonna check in the morning.  Assume I will just need to top up the reservoir ?

hey,

It could mean theres a problem with the ABS system, maybe a wheel sensor??

Well I had a nasty crunch at the nearside when I reversed over a kerb the other day, funny the problem has occured since then.

Where does the sensor sit ??

The sensor sits behind the brake disc and picks up a notched ring (dont know the proper name is) on the driveshaft i think.

if your abs sensor is faulty, youll usually notice a ight clicking like a valve opening (followed by a pssh noise) and the pedal will kick back at you slightly...

The abs sensor wire had melted against the hotside of the turbo, have insulated it and tied it out of the way.  All fine now..

Too many sensors,lights,dials,plastic,hairdryers.......:evillaugh  Good you sorted it bud !:wave

yeah, plastic in the car, and plastic getting caned in my wallet.

need to get back to basics, wheels, seats, and a good wankel.
