Title: SVA Testing and soon to be back with an FD
Post by: J8P RX on January 16, 2004, 09:22:51 AM
Hi all

As some of you know i sold my fd last year but am know in the market to buy a new one, after 6 months driving about in a cheap wrx feel i need that special feeling again.

Anyway am i right in thinking i should be able to get a 93 or early 94 as long as the car was registered in japan 10 years b4 it hits are shores. ie if i bid on a march 94 car and it arrived here in march would the car be sva exempt.

Also what sort of price are the single turbo bad boys going for in yen over there not worried about on the road price here just auction prices.

Cheers soon to be re-united

Yeah you are right, my car is a 92 and all I had to do was put it through an MOT and register it. As long as its 10 years old you dont need SVA.
