Title: offsets again, sorry
Post by: the jackel on April 26, 2007, 09:53:51 AM
I am in the market for some wheels and have spent much time reading past posts about sizes and offsets. I just wanted to get a few peoples thoughts on fitment. Below is a fitment table for the wheels I am interested in. I am planning on going for 17 x 8.5 up front and 17 x 9.5 at the rear with usual tyre sizes ie 235/40 and 255/45.

Any thoughts on the best offset for my car. It is stock bodywork with stock suspension.

All opinions appreciated

Cheers

Mike

There\'s a guide in the stickies you can download which allows you to enter offsets for wheel sizes front and rear and will tell you how far the wheel sticks out or doesn\'t of the arches.

+40 front and +38 rear

These are exactly the same offsets as the Mazdaspeed MS-01S for the FD in the same widths so they should be perfect.

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Any thoughts on if I used 8.5 all round on the 40 offset. Any advantages or disadvantages to this setup?

Cheers
