Title: More vert "problems" - source for the go-faster stripe
Post by: elford_tim on April 26, 2007, 07:51:27 AM
Just got another question from the bodyshop - the vert has the typical eightiestastic stick-on go-faster pinstripe along the top swage line of the body. It looks like it is original but I\'m not 100% sure of that.

So, the questions are - is it original? Did they really come like this?

And if it is, are replacements still available or is it a matter of breaking out the pinstriping brush?

I had a black EGI with a gold line each side, I think it was a dealer thing?

Not really a thread hi-jack - but did the Turbo II have the name on both left and right wings, or just on the left one ?
