Title: loss of power when flooring it!
Post by: nextleveluk on April 25, 2007, 11:59:37 PM
hey guys, this is baffling me, had a search couldnt find any answers.
car runs ok and boost up nice ONLY if i give it gradual acceleration. If i floor it however, it read 4psi on boost gauge and no more! so i can drive it normally no problems, but cant put my foot to the floor, just looses so much power
any ideas?

sounds like it could be either a vacum pipe colapsing or split/leaking

Is it spluttering when you try and put foot down?

What does it boost up to at it\'s best, also is it a standard car ?

nds like a major boost leak somewhere.
One of your pipes must have split,or be coming off somewher or be loose.
