just ripped out the air pump want to tackle the acv ? not sore how to do this ive taken the uim off what next its an automatic fd

i did it as well but didnt take pics
its prety easy if you look at it
only 3 bolts remove it
then u need to get blanking plates
I have taken the avc off 3 times last week - should find out what the advantages and dissadvantages of keeping it are and should get rid and blank!
3 bolts - 2 you can see one underneath you can\'t :)

oh you guys lol i try it tomorrow what about the vac hoses from it just block the ends
just got the acv out damn that hidden nut was a ass now all i need to do is make up some blanking plates out of ally by useing the gaskets as templates but what to do with the two vac hoses.
i jst took mine off but im sure iv got to blank them as well lol
also u can tak eoff the pipe that goes from the inlet to just beside the gearbox.
I believe you blank off the hoses. I did a search and I read you can also remove a solinid - if you do a search for ACV it comes up in the first 10 results :)
