Title: Front brake pads
Post by: nikp on April 22, 2007, 04:44:17 PM
Ok, I\'m going to be needing some new brake pads very soon.

I was just hoping that people could maybe recommend something slightly uprated that offers good stopping power. Also, where from, and what price?

Need good options.

I have found:
Green Stuff for £53
Red Stuff for £61

Or standard pads I have found for £25!!

Any other options? And suggestions.

DONT USE EBC PADS!!!!! They are not up to the job.

Hawk, Mintex and a couple of other options are out there, try a search on it.

First of all, you need to think what you will be using your car for more than anything else.

Theres no point in putting something like our PFC 01 compound, or Ferodo DS3000 compound etc in your calipers if you never use the car on the track.

Tell us the main application and we can advise a little better.

Cheers.

Dan.

mintex xtreme from clive, gave em some serious abuse, and prefered them to ferodo ds2500, on the road that is.

Dan,

It appears by this reply you are acting as a trader for providing brake kits, may we please ask that you either refrain from doing so or please sign up as a advertiser for MRC.

There are advertisers already present on MRC who can provide brake kits and its unfair for you to trade without being an advertiser.

Thanks for your assistance in this matter :cheers

I dont mind assisting at all, hence why i asked the question what his main use for the car is:Giggle

On a serious note, i have not put any prices up or even advertised in the for sale section or even traded, regarding said brand.
However i am intrested in advertising rates, as when we have a full product line up out, i would like to offer members discount and group buys through a recognised distributor.

Sorry but as of 1/3/06 non-members are now not allowed to post their contact details due to a decision made at the AGM by our members unless they are selling in the for sale section.
Please email info@mazdarotaryclub.com for imformation regarding becoming an advertiser.

Thanks!
