Just wondering if i can run my car on the stock ecu with the following mods:
cars a 92 with a fresh rebuild on stock ports.
Current mods are:
Efini Y Pipe
Mazdaspeed Exhaust catback (ie cat still on)
I know the stocker can support these 2 relatively minor mods easily.
What im wondering is if the stocker can safely run the car if I also fit the greddy hard pipe kit and greddy elbow (to replace the standard inlet elbow and intercooler pipes)
Edit to add.... if yu think it isnt safe to run the greddy kit with the other mods listed, would it be safe if i reverted back to the standard backbix from the mazdaspeed?

You should be able to fit the hard pipe and elbow. Its more a thing of air filters instead of the stock box, down/mid pipe swap would be the start of lean issues.

cool...well the plan is to keep the stock air box and stock air filter setup...just to use the hard boost pipes to increase flow and more importantly so they dont pop off and split like the rubber IC pipes and plastic crossover. The only real reason i want the greddy elbow and hard pipe kit is cos it looks bling lol....along with the rest of my polished engine components, should look awesome!
