How much would I be looking at to get my stock twins reconditioned?

Just been qouted about what you say, and 1200 for high flow twins.

What sort of boost can you run on the high flow turbos?

You want to find out if they have 360 bearings and uprated Oil seals in.

If its just a Gas flowed Stock turbo then 1 bar is your Limit.

For that kind of money you could get a set of BNR\'s....:3gears-rh

Urm i don\'t think so, BNR\'s (or at least the stage 3\'s) are ALOT!! more than 1k second hand Maybe but what garantee do you get with second hand Turbo\'s?

How you have to look at it, there is Two Turbo\'s you are having rebuilt/Moded. I have had Standard Turbo\'s rebuilt in the past and they came out around the £300 mark from a Top Turbo Builder (thats without tweeking)

BNR\'s are the Way to go for Big Power of Twins but whats the point??? You can buy a Decent single for the same money and you don\'t have to mess about with the Seq setup?

BNR\'s cost around $2.5k so thats around the 1200GBP that he was quoted for hi flow twins...

If you want big power from twins then they(BNR) are the way to go..Obviously you can get more power from a single but for some people they prefer the sequential setup..

I was thinking of keeping it pretty stock as turbo\'s go to be honest, I can\'t afford the sort of cash for a single turbo and I ain\'t after massive outright power.

The qoutes were from WGT btw

^ yep agree with that, a good second hand set is around £300

Or you could spend a bit more and go single;)

Arn\'t BNR\'s Exchange? where does the shipping both ways for the Turbos come in? What would it cost for a set Outright? I did inquire a while back but changed my Direction becouse heats a Killa ;)

I\'m a little Funny about Second hand turbo\'s, i don\'t know why but i\'ve always had a bad track record (Pay over the odds for a Good Turbo fit it then it only lasts a year :() It all depends on what you want it for, if you are looking to run 1 bar through stockers all the time then don\'t expect them to last years also it depends on how you treat them.

okey dokey because i have posted on ian\'s thread i think he should reply first if that is ok tiger but as soon as ian has posted as to whether or not he wants them then i can let you know ok.

Price wise was told by pip £200 plus postage is reasonable given the condition.
