JPS-trading are a top seller, I have bought many things off them and Tim will always lower insurance value for customs.  I cannot comment on pros and cons of buying that particular item though

You relise thats an SPL? Not a Kia?

Ok Scrap what i said above the RB is very rare and Very expencive, not sure if i\'d get the RB beocuse of the load it will put on a motor (RB\'s are more prone to Oil starvation etc if the motor goes on you)

Remember you will still need the rest of the kit ie Manifold, wastgate, downpipe etc.  Nurspec on the forum has a T51R KAI turbo for sale as Grizzly said for £1k and it is here in the UK.

Depends it is Argued that Big HP motors have a lot shorter life span there for if you do loose a Motor it will cost ALOT less to have a 360 bearing Turbo rebuilt and the Power output that can be achived with the Kia is suprising so unless you are after 1000hp or somthing daft i don\'t see the point in using anything bigger. But thats just my Opinion. Also why use a HKS T51? why not buy a Garrett Custom (then you can at least buy bits for saine Money if you have a Problem in the Future)  and as you are proberly aware you won\'t have to buy the Stupidly expencive HKS v-band manifold you could just use a Good quality T4 footprint one.

Also ask your self why The Kia RB was never sold in large numbers and (from memory not100%) is now out of Production?

I think you\'ll find its becouse the Kia produces Masive power,Easy Rebuildable and Has Good Responce for a turbo that big. So why use something that for a slight Increase in Responce will cost three time as much to repair if you loose a Motor? (don\'t forget we\'re talking Big Hp Numbers so low life span, if its not run for big power it\'s not worth Using such a Big Turbo in the First Place would be a waist of Money)

When running Big Power you have to expect to pop the Odd motor :)

I think there was a Lack of faith as well in the RB\'s handling big HP too which Did\'nt help the cause.

The boy done good...
Only get the KIA, ( Like Me ) as it can be rebuilt for £500, BB one you have to replace sealed parts, megga bucks.
