I was on my way to a meeting Tuesday morning.
Near the end of my journey, I noticed my oil light come on. Thinking wtf, I drove the next mile or so, then pulled over.
Looked in the engine bay and saw a little steam (from the leaking oil). I instantly thought "Oh SH*T!".
I looked under the car and there was a massive puddle of oil!! I had to Abondon the car and get a mate to take me the rest of the way.
I got back to the car Yesterday and called the RAC out.
The Problem....

A split oil cooler pipe!! Needless to say, not fixable on the spot, so I got trailered an hour back to where I live.
Although, I now need to source a pipe form somewhere, it could have been ALOT worse!! Imagine me travelling 70mph along the motorway and not realising for another 20miles??.. Engine would have been dead!
if there was oil spilling out the back at that kind of rate for a mile or so, people behind (i.e me) would be flashing you telling you to pull over :)

nearest mazda garage may have one, give em a ring.
Mazda = pricey as fook I\'d think.
Trying to save a little after spending £150 to get trailered home!!
Also, I think trying to explain to someone over the phone might be near impossible!! Well form previous experiance with parts people.

Try your local mazda dealers anyway, not sure about price, but they will have all the blowup pics on computer, if nothing else it may make it easier to source one if you have the right part number. Nice bling by the way, almost a shame to cover it up!
dr3 has hopefully got one for me from the car he\'s breaking.

what about getting one made up? mate of mine had a similar issue on an old 911 and got the pipe made by a plant machinery \\ engineering crowd - same spec (if not better) and for a lot less... they make them all the time for the hydraulics systems on JCBs and the like.
pip will have one, i bought the other side last week for £25, and if he doesnt give tim a call at rxmotors.
