Normal Silicone stuff will do but you\'ll have to do it quick as it will have to dry...

You can try and get the black stuff they use to put the windscreens in with..

Dont know the name of it...

Hi Andy,

As this is really race car stuff its designed to be drilled and screwed into position rather than stuck and that way you haven\'t got to wait for any silicons to cure

ooh scary - i\'ll leave that for an expert; this thing cost 2k apparently!

i have been told to use sikaflex 221 by someone else.....its an all-purpose sealer thingy; anyone heard of it or know where i could source some locally? Halfords, B&Q, Boat Supplies? (when i google it i get a lot of maritime links!)

getting out of the car this morning and seeing one side of it half way down the bootlid gave me heart failure!

the louder-then-normal clunking from behind me when driving to get the new tyres on really should have set off alarm bells...but i am a dopey sod in the morning
