Title: Pressure chamber questions

What does the pressure chamber do and if it is faulty will it effect boost? :Hammer

It supplies pressure to one side of an actuator (Can\'t remember which one off the top of my head) and the vacuum chamber supplies vacuum to the other side. It speeds up the response of the actuator. I believe a faulty/leaky pressure chamber will show up as poor boost response in 1st/2nd gears but will perform fine in higher gears due to the actuator having more time to respond anyway. Think it\'s an actuator for bringing the second turbo on line.

Had a check valve split on mine meaning no pressure at at all.
It caused no boost on the second turbo. Up to transistion, fine, then slowly boost went down to nada.

thanks guys! I\'m having boost probs and i think it is the controls to the actuator. I tried the pressure chamber with my mytivac and it seems similar to the probs with my boost. I get full boost on the first turbo but then a delay when trying to get the twins online, after about 3-4 second the twins come online and will continue with full boost, but then when i try the first turbo again it takes ages to build up boost again. So i know i have not got a boost leak but a problem with the actuator controls (i have tried another actuator that was working fine on another rex so i know it is not that). Other than the pressure chamber what controls the actuator?
