any of you fountains of knowledge out there know of a good way to spruce up the interior panels (centre console around the gear lever, heater control surround,dial surround etc.) without it costing the earth? mine are silver & look a bit second hand by now. i\'m a new rex owner in wolverhampton & there does\'nt seem to be many places round the west midlands that can help with what i like to call "highly specialised cars" like ours & prices on sites like rotaryart for new replacement ones are a bit steep. by the way, how do i become a full member on here?, also, are there any other rex owners near me? cheers.:3gears-rh :cheers
could always do what im doing at the moment, take panels out (easy enough) sand em down (800 grade for me) 1 coat plastic primer, couple normal primer, and then the color of your choice :) maybe a coat or two of laquer. wouldnt cost overly much.

prob best to just repaint them yourself mate, thats what most do on here. Welcome to mrc by the way. Is yours a black fd with huge rear wing by any chance? Think i saw you pulling into the car wash on the penn road a week or 2 ago? Never seen it around before.
Hey good to see another local theres a few around wolves now. i could find out a rough price of having them resprayed as a friend of myn does this for a living.

yeah spread eagle sounds good mate, maybe one night next week?. what i\'m really after is a venue to hold a monthly meet where all jap performance cars are welcome. I\'ve spent a lot of time thinking about this, the problem is i\'ve not lived in wolverhampton long & don\'t really know the surrounding area that well so i may need a little help to get it up & running. correct me if i\'m wrong (& i know you will) but there does\'nt seem to be any meets like the one i have in mind in the west midlands. It will take time to grow i know but you\'ve got to start somewhere!. I\'ll post a heads up on the subject on the dc2/dc5, skyline,supra etc etc forums & see how much interest i get or maybe start a separate thread here on the mrc. cheers.:burnout
