As many will know I am rebuilding my Gen 1 suspension. It was all going well, then my new springs havnt turned up, and now i have found that I have the original wet type front shockers. I bought some standard insert type shockers, but the large nut that hold the shocker in the struts are different.. bugger. I need this car back on the road by the end of next week as I need to get the MOT done and get the car ready for the Dyno day at the end of the month...... so Has anyone got the large nuts for the front shockers tat screw into the strut body ??? I am traveling to devon tomorrow, near Honiton and south coast from York I will be there for 2 days or so, then traveling from there up to Liverpool, leeds and home. If you have what I require and are near any of those places or think I will be passing near please can you let me know ASAP and I will collect, I will even remove them if you cant.. I will bring a strut to check they are the right ones....... So anyone??? if you call or text would be better due to driving on 07770807209........
if your passing your welcome to strip the spare ones i have
i cant get the things off though!

Hey bud,I got a collection of screws and nuts and bit and bobs in the ROTORSHED,not quite sure of the size you want, but hey, while I make you a cup of tea and cut the grass, you are welcome to ravage my supply...:yes :wiggle :) ........you have my numbers and the home addy, will be home all day tomm :yes :guinness
They are the cups at the top of the front strut, with a hole for the shocker piston to go through... if that helps
where are you Mark, are the the similar type to what you sent up, or the original wet type???
Your welcome to raid my lockup Alan theres two loose front struts in there not sure what type or condition plus the rolling shell has struts on.
