Title: Stupid question but just checking...
Post by: interloper393 on April 14, 2007, 06:14:58 PM
Ok you`ll gunna laff at me for this but here goes...

The coolant bottle behind the drivers headlight, mine is saying its around 4 bars above the full mark..

Now my car starts first turn of the key both cold and warm.. no white smoke and no bubbles in the coolant with the cap off..but when i turned her off today... a few minuits later i heard boiling water then it started to overflowout the expansion tank.. now iv never had a buzzer light and its still way over the full mark, so is it just releasing the excess water from the bottle?

does running the car with the cap of the coolant topup(middle one) release any traped air in the system? or is that the ast`s job..
