Title: Help me please... speedy reply needed!!
Post by: Jono FD3 on April 14, 2007, 02:44:30 PM
I\'m just about to drop my UIM back on the car and I have noticed that the nipple on the front solonoid has desided to detach itself when the pipe came off!!! can I just glue it back on or do I have to go through the ball ake of trying to get a replacement??

The pipe goes from the front solonoid, through a one way valve thingy & then in to the UIM.

Cheers

Isn\'t that the double throttle solenoid?
Have you a PFC?

If the answer is yes to both then just plug the UIM and you will be fine.
I did this and actually while the UIM was off I even got rid of the butterflies in the UIM and the car runs great.
