I\'m gonna do mine as soon as my hoses appear. I\'d use tie wraps mate, but to be safe.

Like you said, you don\'t want any popping off!

I tried to get some Viton hose, but went with silicon hose in the end.

Still waiting on it coming though!!!

How much hose did you use mate? I\'ve got 3metres coming.

Also, did you just do under the UIM, or did you go the whole hog? (wanna do mine? .. lol.)

You`l need more than 3m i think lol.. i`ll do yer nest if you want m8, dosnt bother me :) i enjoyed doing it,.. theres a thread on here that tells you the total amount you`ll need to do the whole engine.. jus cant find it lol..

But i pulled a pile of broken/split ones off and FOOK!! me what a difference it makes, the power is awsome.. I WANT MORE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah some of them split and the engine hasnt even done 300 miles yet....bit disappointed tbh as i thought id allowed enough room so they werent being forced agaisnt the metal pipe ends.

lol sorry 35 feet pmsl..

First of all realize that this is not easy. I’m an FAA certified Aircraft Mechanic and I found myself getting frustrated more times than I want to admit. Plan on spending a couple of days bent over the engine compartment pulling and installing hard to reach hoses. There are about 60 hoses to replace if you do all of them. You need at least two sizes of vacuum hoses, 4mm and 6mm. You will need approximately 35 feet of 4mm and about 10 feet of the 6mm and about 120, 4 inch tie-wraps. If you\'re planning to install a manual boost controller and a secondary turbo pre-spool controller you\'ll need a total of 17 feet of 6mm hose. See the Boost Controller How To. Most everyone recommends upgrading to silicone hoses and putting 4-inch plastic tie-wraps on the hose ends. You can also put a little silicone sealant on the pipes that the hoses go onto (don’t put the sealant in the hoses).

60? didnt realise there was so many!! bloody hell

so 35ft of 4mm silicon hosing, 10feet of 6mm and about 120 4" tie-wraps. great shopping list! :)
