right i previously had a MR2 turbo that i recently sold to buy a nice RWD front engined car.
now i have found a mint RX7 48k miles can get it with a warante also. its a fairly newly imported.
now some i see say 1.3 but others say 2.6, how is this worked out ??
also only other things i wanna know is the rebuild lark, this is what puts me off as much as i love these cars, reading about them needing to be rebuilt worres me! what kind of milage do they need a rebuild at?
also what kind of running costs can i expect? MPG etc?
thanks for any info in advance

will leave this to the gurus to answer (mines registered 1.3 for tax)

how longs a piece of string ? varies lots basicaly look after the car regular service dont hammer it from cold, let it cool down after a spirited run,if you mod it do it sensibly use an RX specialist ONLY - can last maybe 100,000 (common seems to be 60000 ISh )

low teens depending on your right foot - get more smiles per gallon than miles
Hi
You\'ll find a lot of your questions ansered on here if you just have a dig around.
The 1.3 or 2.6 is the luck of the draw, it will depend on what the log book says, could be either.
Re the rebuild - well you\'ll get two sides to that, cars that run a long time and those that don\'t.
You say you\'re looking at one with a warranty, does it have an engine rebuilt, that would be advisable.
John
the engine hasnt been rebuild but is only on 48k?
not sure i would take out the warantee thers always restrictions on them.
most warantees ive seen from dealers never cover the engines. i think the best bet if you dont want that hassle of having the car off the road is to get one thats been rebuilt and has some sort of warranty from a recognised engine builder.
I have a real nice one for sale, look at link below
