Hi,
i\'m considering going bare arsed and removing my standard rear wing (94 FD Type R)
I could probably cope with removing the boot lid lining and undoing a couple of screws, but how should I fix the holes in the body (maybe even temporarily while I see if I like it)
I don\'t really want to spend loads getting them filled, cos i want to do a respray eventually (but not for a while yet).
Is there a quick/safe/clean fix, which looks OK too...
ta
Bodge mode = gaffer tape
Semi-Bodge = Some rubber bungs
Semi-Bodge 2 = Matt Black Your Boot... for added USDM Ricer Effect
Other than filling properly and painting it\'s always going to look odd...
Yeah, thought as much...
No way do I want it to look DIY / ricer, but would like a simple option.
:(
maybe some rubber bungs would be ok for a few weeks to see if i like it...
I\'ve seen people use coach bolts!!!!
I\'d take a trip to your local hard wear shop and have a look at what they\'ve got, sure you could find a domed hex bolt that\'ll fit. Or try a specialised fittings trade shop, they might have a nut n bolt more suitable. Whatever you do is going to look a bit pants i\'m afraid!!:(
What colour is the car mate???
I\'ve put vinyl circles over the holes on ballys black rex, & you can hardly see it and they are water tight!!
Jono
Ive seen holes covered with bungs and vinyl and both look ok IMHO
