Title: Boost Controller Question
Post by: Lum on April 11, 2007, 01:19:27 PM
I\'m getting near the stage where i need to set up my Greddy profec  B boost controller.
My external wastegate currently has a spring rated at 0.8-1 bar.
I have ordered a 0.7 bar rated spring as i want that as my base boost setting.
Until that arrives is my boost controller able to regulate the boost pressure at a lower level than the spring that is currently in my wastegate?
I would like 0.7 bar as a low setting and 1 bar as a high setting. Is this possible with my current  1 bar wastegate spring?

In a word - no. A boost controller can only control boost at or above waste gate spring pressure.

Depends on who maps your setup.
