Only half of of the demister on the rear screen is working. Are these things that are easy to replace? What kid of price am I looking at?
It\'s not a major problem but is a bit annoying occasionally.

Sorry, but its built into the rear screen, you willhave to replace rear screen, I would have thought.
I have repaired demisters before. In South Africa, I could buy a demister kit. Ive never seen one here, though.
Its basically just a circuit. However, you obviously cannot solder it!
On some of the older cars the heater pad was stuck to the screen and was approx 4mm thick, you could buy a silver paint for the job and worked, but I think on the RX its newer and much smaller, and not exposed like the thick silver bands on the older heaters.
Mines crap, barely does anything, take 20 mins just to make a couple of random small holes, driving me nuts, cant ever see out the back window. :rolleyes:
