Title: Need a manifold stud ASAP
Post by: probedb on April 08, 2007, 07:49:52 PM
Can anyone help?

I\'m putting my engine back together and I didn\'t realise one of the nuts that holds the exhaust manifold onto the engine has sheared on the stud so the stud has come out but the nut is stuck.

It\'s the lower left exhaust stud on the block.

Can anyone help? Or I\'m off to Mazda on Tuesday.....which I\'d noticed before I ordered from Malloy!

Cheers :)

Paul.

I\'ll see about it in a few days. Moving into a new flat and I took a photo of another part I need but can\'t get it onto my PC as the lead is at the new flat, doh!

Thanks Gary...I\'m going to have a look around my engine later today and see if I can work out exactly what I need. I think I need 2 of the studs that are on the turbo that the downpipe attaches to as well so want to make sure I don\'t miss anything this time. Then I need to get onto Pip as he\'s had my injectors for about a month now!
