Oh great, my car still doesn\'t love me...
I was trying to fit a nice(r) set of wheels and when I removed the driver\'s side rear wheel I found this :(:
I don\'t think the local cats have been aiming high when marking their territory either, especially because the car is making \'oink, oink\'-type noises when the rear suspension settles or I try to bounce it.
So, can anybody recommend some street-oriented suspension that is nice an compliant and works well on an FD? Keep in mind that this car is of the smooth long-distance driver variety and not a track or drift car.
If I have to get the rear shocks changed I may as well do it properly...
Tim I have Tein Flex fitted to mine, and you\'re more than welcome to come for a quick drive in it.

Get some Penske Shocks! They are fab!
How good are the Penskes for road use for someone with a duff back?
I have a set of tein adjustables for sale, 16 stage adjustment, so can get them plenty soft enough for a duff back

Look up Aragosta ;)
Not cheap but the best all rounders.
I have HKS Hyper II on mine and they are good but even on the softest setting they still hold really well but its still quite harsh on the rough stuff ie the lovely british roads !! its a compromise though, sometimes even standard shocks(new) with lowering springs are a good setup but its the cost of the shocks compared to getting something uprated and sometimes theres no difference in cost, mostly cheaper to go uprated.
