Title: 20s on an FD
Post by: Jit on April 06, 2007, 07:27:51 PM
Right before I get shot down in flames, im NOT looking to put 20s on my FD......i have a set of 20s which might fit an FD and I just want to be able to advise on what work would be needed to get them to fit
Im just wondering what sort of modifications would I need to make to run the following wheel spec:

20x9 Fronts with 245/35/20
20x10 Rears with 275/35/20

Both are et35

Any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers

Only know one guy has done this and he had to take out the wheel arch liners and roll the wings. The ride became very harsh and it handle like a dog, the sort of mod that could easily kill you.

Hi Gary,
I kind of guessed that if someone did want them for their FD, that handling wasnt gonna be at the front of the mind! Id guess it would be for some sort of show car which only gets driven in anger in a straight line! Id imagine thered be a fair bit of scrubbing unless you went for superstiff suspension as well on corners!
