I like the fact that I\'m the only person around here who actually owns one! :) I also enjoy buying bits and bobs for it and tinkering away.
I dislike the scary prospect of an expensive engine rebuild and the fact that I seem to spend loads of money buying bits! :)

i worry about my bank getting angry that i am always in the red due to for ever feeding the rex with Vpower.
and the fact that everytime i start it something else goes wrong.
I hate the attention it gets sometimes, and the amount of fuel it can drink :eek
I love the way it drives and the way that each one can be made so different.
Hate - Fuel bills, oil bills, prospect of a rebuild, that annoying knock that I just can\'t find, the rattle in the boot, the rear hatch, the rear window seal, the ride quality, the racket the NUR Spec makes, lack of storage space, kids hanging round and gawping through the windows...
Love - The fact that when i turn the key all of the above doesn\'t seem to matter anymore... :D

I hate the fuel consumption. Oil consuption is nothing to me as it uses little oil per month. Everythig else i can live with but the fuel consumption is killing me. It\'s the only reason i would sell my fd!
i just love the fact that my wife is not on the insurance to drive it and that today a nissan micra tried to go round a corner at the same speed as me and went through a hedge lol !!!!!!
hate those enoying boy racers who really think that a halfords kitted corsa is really gonna tempt me to stick my foot down. We dont need to proove what any FD is capable of..........keep em guessing !!!!

Me 2 .... i love the drive .... i love having to mend it .... i love spending money on it .... i dont mind puting petrol in it as its so worth it .... and one day ill have to love rebuilding it..
Its a hobby and only 1 of 3 cars i have so i dont mind it sitting up for weeks on end while i improve it, i am spoild in the fact that i will have a full workshop with 2 ramps and an exstensive toolbox, so the rebuild is gonna be an adventure.
So like i say i love the lot.

I hate the fact I had my engine rebuilt by Carl and he *INSISTS* that I have to drive 2000 miles before I can open it up. He set the rev limiter to 4000rpm, it\'s like he doesn\'t trust me or something ;)

Well these engines can be rebuilt on the ground with limited tools and if it breaks then get £300 worht of car and drive that till you mend it :D

Id prompt anyone who has a FD to get a daily drive, if you spend £500 on a bannger and use that for trolling around and doing all the crappy trips and ony use the FD for the nice stuff, if you only drive the bannger 2 times w week then your keeping the miles and wear off the FD, there are a lot of insurants companys that take into account you can only drive 1 car at a time so they will do you a good deal.
Its going to take me 6 years to put 12000 miles on my FD :)

I dont blame ya, but after driving a fiesta 1.8 diesel for 3 days out of the week the FD feels like the 1st time i drove it everytime i get in :D
The other car is the family mondeo st24 v6, its like driving an armchair.
The seats are ****e and you cant adjust the steering wheel
One of the best things is that I live about 5 miles from the rx second hand supermarket aka RX Motors :god

Like- Peoples reactions, the noise, the presence it has wherever you take it, I cant find any other cars in my budget that could replace it!
dislike- Having to stop for MORE petrol, annoying rattles, paranoia \'is it going to die today\' re-occuring boost problems etc...
All part of the fun I suppose..:D
Like: The fact that there are very few of them about. A little exclusivity if you like.
Dislike: As soon as I get the current niggling little problem fixed something else small and annoying goes wrong!!

I don\'t like the black paintwork. It\'s going to take half a day to polish out the micro scratches all over the body at the moment. Wish I\'d started out with a white one... Keeping it nice would have been so much easier!

Being part of MRC and FD:UK and going on tunnel runs with a long line of other stunning cars
Oops...I went on a bit. As it happens I don\'t mind that my MPG hit 10 the other day even though it is my daily drive, filling it up is just another opportunity to show it off to people!!!
I dislike the fact the car has no engine in it at the moment.
I like knowing that when it\'s back on the road it\'s going to be a different beast altogether and much quicker :D
