Sorry to hear it is rebuild time Rich :(

What do you mean by a sports engine? (one with a street port?)

Best bet would be to e-mail Carl & Geff and get prices from them.  Remember to add on a fair few hundred quid (IIRC it was between 6 & 800) for taking the engine out, shipping and refitting.
Also bear in mind that you have your arm twisted if you go for a street port - must get an ECU, and the PFC map wants a midpipe (IIRC you have one already anyway) and that it is much louder (if you can make it along to the RR day on the 1st Feb you will get a chance to hear how loud - my car had the stock backbox & dead cat when you were in it the last time, it\'s now a little err louder).

Hi Robbie,

Just to let you know I no longer work with Geff so we are now really seperate entities. I would say that I have not worked with Re Worx for at least 6 months.
We really got too busy and so  each had to do our own thing.
Geff now builds his own engines, and ported ones too.
If anyone wants advice or a quote then they need to ask us as individual companies.
I actually built your engine Robbie which was then dressed by Geff and sent up to Mark. This means that your warranty is with me.
Hope this clears things up a little.
Kind regards
Carl

Indeed, shame its come to that but I guess every one knows where they stand and can concentrate on their own affairs. As Carl says, Geff\'s building ALL his own motors now - and porting and dowelling (if/where required) are no probs. Should be able to provide most other bits you might need while you\'re at it.

An alternative might be WGT Rich? A little less far to ship it! Still a bit of a drive though if you dont stick it on a pallet and send it down south...

A couple of people with FDs on here are running recent engines from Hurley off the top of my head, but being recent builds I dont imagine they are really in a position to comment on much else than the service received during the build process?? I think some one said recently that they didnt want any thing to do with tuning engines - not sure how that reflects on them to be honest?

Good luck mate,
