but i do like to take people for their word.

Nice sentiment but I wouldn\'t part with any money to a non member or member without absolute certanty i.e. If it\'s valuable meet up and see what you\'re buying then hand over the cash.

On the other hand there are ppl on here who bought from both members and non members and like ebay will give you a feeback of their experiences.

Best to ask for info re buying from \'x\'

John

read all previous posts from the seller in question - best precaution, 99.99% on here genuine people whether members or not

take everything they say with a HUGE pinch of salt....
if they ask you to check with their preffered tuner or the tuner who "did the rebuild", DONT. take it to a completely different tuner for an independent inspection. get the car inspected by a rx7 specialist for sure and insist on a long test drive. if they cant offer proof for work done like rebuilds, walk away IMO.

I take it on their post count and date of joining. If they have been on the forum for more than a year and have more than a couple of hundred posts then I would trust them.

Also worth looking at the Feedback section under the for sale/wanted forums.

Personally I wouldn\'t take any percussions to see a rex, have you ever tried putting a drum kit in the back of one? Bit of a non-starter really ;)

Best advice: Take someone with you who knows RX7\'s
