Title: ARC induction box/ retune
Post by: Red Leader on April 03, 2007, 03:11:48 PM
Hi

Was thinking of ftting a ARC induction box. Would i have to have my Apexi commander retuned?

Currently have a mazdaspeed panel in the standard air box.

Or are the ARC units no better than the standard box?

Sorry, as it doesn\'t answer you question... but I have a fairly new complete ARC induction box available for sale for the FD RX7. With two new panel filters. I bought it for mine, fitted it, love it... but must replace it with cone filters so that I can fit a bigger intercooler in the engine bay.

And on your question... I am running an Apexi PFC on the base map with the ARC box, Racing Beat cat-back exhaust, downpipe, Pettit Racing AST, Magnecor leads and 7\'s and 9\'s combination on NGK plugs. With no issues whatsoever... although I will be having it mapped up properly shortly. But by then I will be running cone filters, bigger intercooler, Greddy elbow, Greddy Type RS BOV, Sard thermostat, high flow main CAT, Koyo radiator and a whole host of other parts, gauges and toys. lol.
