Title: Datalogit Questions...
Post by: Mike on April 02, 2007, 10:18:30 PM
OK - So its finally running, now I have some teething probelems. Some background - I\'ve rebuilt the lump with a mild
streetport, single T04B, lightened flywheel, 6-puc clutch, PFC &
Datalogit (obviously - thats why I\'m here), and Techedge O2. All
installed and running on a base map - just running in now...

Looking at the Datalogit software...
- First what should I be using? I have FC-Edit v1.120 installed
(FD3S specific), should I update to v2.118 (universal software?).
What are the main functional differences?

- On the settings 1 tab what units are the boost in? and when you
add a boost watch what units is that in?

- Then what does PIM stand for, what is it, and what units? What is
the relavence.

Specific to my application...
- How can I check the O2 is reading correctly? I\'m using ground -
AN1 input and so on the aux box none of the Delta check boxes are
checked. I have volts 0-5 with value 10-20? The figures appear
correct but does this sound right??

- I have an issue with the engine stalling on lift off when the
coolant is up to temperature. It idles nice, and responds to
changing the idle values on Settings 1, but sometimes takes a while
to stabalise after blipping the throttle. If I lift off and dip the
clutch after an in gear drive (example, coming up to a corner) then
the rpm drops and engine stalls. I underdtand the F/C settings help
wit this, but when I change these the idle becomes unstable
(hunting?). Can anyone suggest some values??

Thanks,
Mike.

P.S. I have posted this on the Yahoo groups before anyone suggests this. :spank
