But never enough time to do them all.
Yours reminds me of a subaru bonnet vent a little.
I was concerned about obstructing my view which is why I have them up close and low also follows the lines of the other FD panels,
Just starting my PC install soon, got a 12 inch tft fitted into another instrument cowel which sits on the drivers side, going to fit a steering wheel for my little one to play driving games:)

Heres a pic

Defo a dab hand on tha fibre glass stuff mate,  its amazing what can be created. And I agree with your comments on being able to spray defo helps and int G3 great:) use it myself.
GOt a big one on the go at the mo, making a set of re head light type things, just made one of the pods the lights will sit in (found some great stuff for making strange shapes, clay which goes of at room temp, can be minipulated for ages then leave to set.

But I usually use a combination of chicken wire and cling film works a treat, the wire is flexible and can almost make any shpe out of it. then cling film it then fibreglass it then seperate it, do you use gel coat or bog to finish? before you spray
You thought about getting any molds made up for mass production?
