Title: Installation of a Greddy elbow - what pipe to use???
Post by: Tiger_kpt on March 29, 2007, 10:00:54 AM
As above really. I have a Greddy elbow with BOV flange and Greddy Type RS BOV kit to match. I know how to fit these, not a problem.

One thing I am stuck on though which I could do with a point in the right direction is - what pipe to use to make the connection between the Greddy elbow and the intercooler. What material. What particular pipe do any of you recommend? How much is it? And where do you get it from? Am after one quick.

Thanks guys. :cheers

If you still have the factory plastic elbow from the intercooler top then you\'d need a connector pipe between it and the elbow, same if you have hard pipes as well.

I think you can get away with normal Samco type hose. They also do turbocharger hose which is stronger :)

Are there no easily purchasable kits containing everything that you need suitable for the Greddy installation on the FD RX7? Containing a metal pipe and the fittings? There\'s got to be.
