Title: Clutches and Flywheels
Post by: Scott Zimny on March 25, 2007, 08:20:12 PM
What type are people running in their cars?
I\'m looking to change mine but not sure what the best way to go is, car should be about 300ish bhp.
Also whats the benefits of going for a lighter flywheel, i\'ve noticed you can get quite a range of weights, are some better than others to go for different things?

Regards Scott

iv got a standard clutch on mine and i was thinking of an uprated one but not got the cash to spend yet.

lightened flywheels should give bteer throttle reponce but lose abit on top end(waits to get flamed)lol
also has anyone got any plans on where and how much metal to take off flywheels.
reason im asking i was in engineers a while ago and they were doing it for another car(fiesta).
