Sold my FC today but looks like the new owner has already become a member of MRC ;)
So glad it\'s gone to someone that will appreciate it :)
Really sad to see the car go but it was getting such little use that I couldn\'t justify keeping the car for much longer.
Maybe in a year or twos time i\'ll get another, its funny cause i\'ve had dozens of cars but none that have affected me as much to see them being driven off!!
Who says they\'re just machines eh?
Anyway, Adrian look after it because thats a bloody good FC you have there :)
Ive got my car for sale at the minute and I dont think I will be able to let it go to be honest.
Its good news that its gone to a good owner, my last car was a very rare Mr2 and I sold it to a lad in london around 3 years ago, turns out he abused it:( but there was good news as it ended up in the hands on the Mr2 owners club president.:Thumbs-up
Strange how we get so attached to them :yes
I love mine - it may not have the most power, it may not catch people\'s eyes like the next RX-7, but I love it! :chat
you sold it - blimey - looks like i will be going the same route aswell
i will hunt down the new owner now :D
No hunt needed im here. I will be looking after it don\'t worry. Im doing as much reading up on them as I can. I\'ll have to get myself to some meets and speak to some of you guys in person I think. Really enjoying owning it already and i\'ve only driven it home!
pity your not a tad closer to the northwest meet ( warrington )
I\'m only an hour away. Still sorting insurance though. Got it down to £600 but I think it should be cheaper than that even with mods. Any recommendations? I\'ve tried A-plan, Ade flux etc. Gonna try Admeral in the morning Ramirez was with them.
depends on how old you are
try sure-term or heratige
Stu
Sorted the insurance. I took the £600 with all mods. + i can mod more as log as I declare it and it doesn\'t increase the premium. Aslong as they arn\'t hp mods. Been out having fun today. Wondering why it took me so long to buy one now.
Oh im 26 with 8 years ncb and a dreaded sp30.
hummmm it cost me £303 at 29 with no no-claims
mine is on classic insurance though - so its a second car and has to do under 3000 miles a year
that was with a RAFT of mods aswell :D
Wow thats good. although the 3000 miles thing is a bit hasrh. I dont know how you manage to keep it under that for a year. Except for the ever rising fuel cost that is!
Hi ramirez. Could you email me on Tiddles RX7 at bigstring dot com (remove spaces) please I have a question for you.
