7s are meant to go in the leading right, ive put the 7s in sockets 1 + 2 (so the sockets nearest the bulkhead)
and then 9s in the trailing.
i just want to double check before i start the car that when they said leading that they mean leading as in first, i.e 1 +2 :) before i roast my plugs :)
im itching to find out if its going to fix my misfire at 6k+ rpm.
thanks
If Icve read you right, it wrong.
The rotor housings are marked with a L & T but very difficult to see.
The 2 top plugs, one in each rotor will be trailing.
The 2 bottom ones in each housing will be leading

i dont understand why you didnt just go for 9s all round btw. Who advised you to go for 7s and 9s? Ive got a totally stock setup bar some hard boost pipes and a catback exhaust and i go for 9s all round. Also makes it a lot easier when changing plugs cos then you dont have to think so much :Hammer
Just an edit to add, the only reason i might fit 7s and 9s is if was fighting flooding issues.... it should be 9s on your setup.

2005! even if its been sitting the plugs wont be in thier best condition. i would change asap and you should feel a difference anyway, it may not solve your problem but it should make it smoother and start better. i\'ve changed mine twice in about 6 months. (two and half times but thats another can of beans).
perhaps do this first then look elsewhere, as for which plugs i would say 2 x 7\'s and 2 x 9\'s if your car is standard but i think im right in saying most of us use 9\'s all round as its a colder plug so better for higher performance applications as well as stock.

i maybe misread this slightly, the car is running much better is it going to actually do any damage running a hot plug? should i go and buy 2 more 9s ?
