After a struggle with jpegs and resolutions, (thanks Lisa and Fish), if anyone is interested, here are 5 pictures of our 1st generation taken last week, plus 2 more taken on the weekend in 1993 when the insurance people let us run 2 cars on one policy for a few days; (the older car was up for sale then). You can see the difference in ride height on the springs between old and new.
The newer car was registered on a K plate due to being warehoused unregistered for years. The chassis No. ends in xxxxx5572, and the last of the Series 1\'s was I believe xxxxx5582.
The only mod we\'ve ever gone in for is a red coach stripe on each car, which might be old fashioned but we think it improves the lines.
The eagle eyed might notice the engine bay is a bit dirty, but we\'ve never used it for shows, or even steam cleaned it! All of the levels (and tyre pressures) are bang right all the time though!
those are stunning!
David,
That is one nice car, congrats. I have at last found one that has a newer chassis no than mine!

Whats the number Dave? It would be interesting. We\'ve had xxxxx2718 from 1988 to 1993, This one from 1993 is xxxxx5572 and I\'ve broken Mark 3 No.xxxxx4696 a couple of years ago (bought it just for parts). Regret not noting the chassis of the Mark 2 we had from 1984 to 1988.
Thanks all for kind comments.
