Can anyone remember which other modern metal shares our 114.3 pcd? Ive ditched the spare in favour of a sub box & amp, so I\'m looking to find a space saver spare wheel. Do MX5\'s have 114.3 & space saver I wonder?
i have a space saver for mine, the US cars had them,
the earlier Honda civic\'s have the same PCD think there are a couple of others but not many

nissan 200sx is by far the most common one and a few other jap cars
I noted recently that the 17" space saver spare on my \'97 RS seemd to have a deeper dish in the wheel centre and sticks up above boot floor when in the wheel well. Some early FD space savers were aluminuim. Mine is steel. there was an ally one up on fleabay recently. Keep looking

FC cabrios have a space saver, dunno the dimensions though!
this is for 1st gen = 4 studs not 5
OK stand corrected!! lol
Hi, I think you will find it is an imperial size rather than metric. This would mean no other european cars would do.
Cheers folks, I will look for a 200sx jobbie
make sure it\'s an early one ... later ones are 5 stud and won\'t fit
Cheers Mike
Can anyone remmember how to measure for PCD (cant remember what it stands for now...)? I thought it was the distance centre to cente on opposite holes.
The scap yard has a random selection you see.
you need to measure from the centre of the wheel to the stud centre and then double that no.
Wouldn\'t that be the same thing?
it is for a four stud wheel but won\'t work for a 5 stud. the way above works for all numbers
Smartarse
The Vauxhaul VX220 came with two cans of Holts tyeweld or similar, maybe you could try the same? Its unlikely youd want to drive fast on tyres that have been repaired.

Cheers guys, I gave up after 2 unsuccessfull trips to scrapyards. I\'ll go for the trye weld option - it takes up even less space!

Tyre weld is ok to get you out of trouble but i wouldnt want to rely on it, it makes a right mess of your wheels (ok it may not be you who has to clean them up but the garage you take it to may charge you extra labour) my mate used to be a tyre fitter and they used to charge a hours labour for it
