Seeing as Pip did the work on it, I would say the workmanship on it would be outstanding with safe power - providing he did all the mapping.  I, like many others on here will vouch for his work.

As always, it comes down to how well the car was maintained but this one looks very promising indeed.  I\'d still suggest a compression test, at WGT if possible.  That way, Pip can tell you himself how good the car is and if it has been looked after since it left his place.

You can always give WGT a call and see what he has to say on the matter.  As always, things can and do go wrong.  The aim is to minimise the chances of it happening by as much as possible.  Buying a car with receipts from one of the UK’s best rotary builders/tuners is a good start.

Best of luck
Chris

Quality work from pip, depends what you want from the car and what your taste is, for me its a bit blingy, I would not buy a car of this type with lights, wheels and sound system if that is your bag go for it, no mention on what brakes, suspension there is to controll the 450bhp it produces.

If I had a £10k+ budget I\'d get something like this:

you what....mate if i was you i will wait as there are so many cars you can buy with that kind of money.....ok it has mods done to high spec but that engine bay and bodyworks (them lights) dont reflect that and it will need few more quids spending on it to get it right...trust me as i am going through that with my current motor.

I\'d have to echo Laeeq - I think it\'s leaning towards the tasteless side when it comes to the modified appearance.

And I just noticed that I wasn\'t the only one who\'s had the idea as to where to mount the Genesis amp...

Speaking of which, secondhand ICE isn\'t really worth that much anyway so the fact that he\'s spent three grand on an install doesn\'t mean it\'s worth that much money secondhand - IME it usually isn\'t worth much, if anything, when it comes to adding money to the price of a car.

Sorry, should\'ve made this clearer - secondhand ICE installs don\'t add much to the value of the car. The components used are definitely worth something although I noticed that both amps and speakers can be had comparatively cheaply if you look how much they went for new...

I think that Genesis Miniblock I recently picked up on fleabay for something like 150 quid retails at 600-odd new...
