Title: Type x glass sunroof?

Anyone else have a glass sunroof on their type x? I’ve seen them in books but never over here apart from mine? Just wondering:2Rolleyes

The us Marked had some Rx7\'s with glassroof. I dont think japanese and europe marked had it.

Brian Longs book says that in 94 a glass sunroof was fitted to touring X models for the home market? So is mine the only one in the UK?

maby the owner before you have changed it. Because i havent heard of any other ppl have it outside us

Got any pics, I wanted to do this but only ever found one roof on ebay and they wanted $800 for it.

Pics of your would be nice from outside and in please.

Here you go, as you can see it’s got a removable wind defector too.
Can’t take one of the inside without the cover as you need to open it to remove the inside cover as no battery (or engine for that matter):2Rolleyes

Rotechnics had one (an auto in white) for sale about 18 months ago so there must be at least one around: is that yours?

Got the wind deflectof on mine, and that works well on a hot day, you can deflect air in to the cabin, brilliant, wouldn\'t be without a sunroof, these cars are hot!

Here you go, as far as I know it\'s just the same as the steel roof and works just the same. The only difference is that it has a cover on the inside which you can remove to let in a bit more light. As you can just about see it even keeps the double bubble curve to it.
