Title: rebuild worries
Post by: peterwolds on March 12, 2007, 05:55:27 PM
sunday was at elvington drag racing on 2 occasions people came up & asked if i had time (course i had) to talk about RX\'s  as fancied one BUT both had the rebuild worries & wanted to know what mileage they die at so gave them what i know ( not a lot :rollin  ),shame these cars have this reputation.Did my best to steer them to buy off here only where they could read about the car they fancy & make sure they get a rebuilt one.
had a good day despite not getting below 14 as i wanted rears spinning like hell, best was 14.06 at 105mph

you wernt at elvington pete, lol. i dont think there is a set time for it to go pop BUT a good rebuild on a 13b rew is £3k ish on any other 250 - 300 RWHP car that could be £10 - £15k.

matt
ps  is it about time to gett better rubber?
