Now I have worked that out, I feel the need to spoil some other peoples day...

Enjoy :p
yeah but if it helps my 36mpg on me mondeo is dull!!!!(http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/cwm/3dlil/sleep.gif)
Si ((http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/nerd.gif)not at all a sad git but i do keep all my mpg in spreadsheet (http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/contrib/unknown/face32.gif))
I work mine out for ever tank (sad I know) and it has varied between 6mpg and 29mpg. Last 2 tanks have been 21 and 23mpg (guess who has been driving very slowly since his speeding incident :o )
Most my tanks are pretty much the same, 15/16 mpg. I just knew this one was bad for some reason. I think a lot of short trips over xmas done it.
the 29mpg kid strikes again or is that gloats (http://mindscraps.com/s/contrib/ruinkai/rolleyea.gif) lol

30.2 on the ol\' 323 ... and thats a fair bit round town + a 60 mile 12 car rally :D
good for 40+mpg on the motorway ... not bad for a 12yr old car with a carb :)

Any news on that Rob? Hope it turns out ok bud :(
I\'ve never got more than 200 miles to a tank!
Well depending on how low you let it go, that will be 13mpg at best then.
When I got 13 last tank I had 200 miles exact at the petrol station, but it took £56 to fill so it was pretty low. Funnily enough I still hadnt seen the fuel light though!

I\'ve never seen a fuel light on my 3rd gen - do they have one?
Yep.
The light is in the bottom of the guage. You have to let it get painfully low to see it come on though. Not something I normal see I have to admit.
Cheers
Lee
oh dear, i put £35 in a week in my fiesta to do the 300 miles i do every week in and out of work. (250 is motorway miles)
me thinks i\'ll have to find another way of getting in and out of work! as much as i love the RX-7 it\'ll bleed me dry on petrol!!!
I was using mine from July to xmas to commute but it wasn\'t too bad as i was claiming 43p a mile :-)
Oh dear.....I knew the power FC on base map ran rich but if my calcs are right i\'m gettin 9.5mpg.........But its worth it.......

:D What\'s that? the sound of bitterness? :p feel free to beat it once your car turns up ;) if you want to start lower there have been a few 25s, a couple of 26s and one 27mpg as well  I got a certain perverse pleasure from getting more than 400miles out of one tank :cool
Rich, no news yet, not having much luck trying to find anyone who can help me out, so it\'ll probably involve a court appearance in 5 months or so :reallymad
BTW, once the fuel light comes fully on (not flickering on and off)you can creep along for another 20 miles before it is going to run dry, not something I\'d recommend though :o
Your 20 miles is sounding like 10 for me :D
Maybe youve only got 1 rotor working :p ;)
Lee
lol nah no need to be bitter i usually get better than that in the lush mondeo [/irony mode off(http://mysmilies.creativesell.net/contrib/lynx/magwink.gif)] lol
Dont think i\'ll try going for the record thou i no when me clutch went on scoob it was painful having to drive around without allowing the turbo to kick in so when there\'s 2 to play with it must be impossible (http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/contrib/aahmed/biggrin.gif) lmao
