Title: Car Storage
Post by: ramirez on March 07, 2007, 09:31:08 PM
I\'m in two minds about what to do with my TII coupe. I really want to keep it but I have to park on a street, and don\'t get much time to drive it. I\'m hoping that because it\'s in particularly decent condition it may even appreciate in a few years time.

I\'m umming and arring about selling it because of this, but I know i\'ll regret it if I do sell as it\'s a completely awesome beast. I\'m considering finding somewhere to store the car and SORN it til next year when I have a bit more time to drive her.

Does anyone here rent a garage to store cars, if so how much is it costing you?

cant help you to be honest

but spotted the car on driftworks - couldnt believe you was selling up sooooooooooooooooooo soon

find a nice farmer with a field and see if you can store it there ( looks for lots of caravans !! ) - could cost you £3-4 a week though

I really don\'t want to (and looking at my finances, strictly speaking I don\'t actually need to either....)

There may be a way! My parents have a drive which can just about squeeze 2.5 cars in  - maybe if I bribe my dad he\'ll let me keep it there!

I really wouldn\'t try to park a car that\'s as rust prone as an FC in a field as that\'s a good way to get it back less the bottom four inches of the car...

Hi,
I have a storage facility in Wiltshire, where I keep and work on my FC. Drop me a line at arty26we@yahoo.com If the mods want to remove my address, no worries but you all know me anyway!

Cheers,
John
